Korean Bean Sprouts

Ingredients of Korean Bean Sprouts

  • 1⁄2lb bean sprouts
  • 1teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • 2tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1⁄4cup finely chopped green onion
  • 1pinch cayenne pepper (optional)

How to Make Korean Bean Sprouts

  1. Drop the bean sprouts into boiling water and boil 5 minutes.
  2. Drain well. Return to the pan.
  3. Stir in the salt, sesame seeds, sesame oil, garlic, cayenne, and green onions. Simmer 2 minutes.
  4. Serve hot or cold.
