Veg Fried Rice


  • 1 cup carrot
  • 1 cup capsicum (with mixed color)
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup spring onions
  • 1/2 cup paneer
  • 1/2 cup sweet corn
  • 2 tsp garlic
  • 5 tsp chilly sauce
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 tsp cooking oil
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp pepper


  1. Have the basmati rice cooked and kept separately.
  2. Add butter to the pan to fry the paneer and keep it aside.
  3. Add oil to the pan, heat it, and add garlic to allow it to burn.
  4. Add carrot, peas, sweet corn, and capsicum and allow it to half cook, so try to avoid water if required sprinkle the water.
  5. After 15 mins, add chilly sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Keep in the flame until sugar melts and add the caramel texture to the mixture.
  6. Add pepper to the mix, paneer, and then spring onions.
  7. Mix the cooked rice with the above-prepared mixture in the pan and serve it hot.
