The book is a Holocaust fiction-based genre. I first saw the movie, and then got this book to read it. It’s a very simple storyline about two kids with deep meanings in it during the second world war. This book reflects on the atrocities which happened in that second world war and why they shouldn’t happen again. The understanding and the friendship between the kids have well narrated as well as the pain people went through during the second world war time. It is truly an amazing yet daunting novel that I will never forget.
